Corporate Express Promotional Marketing - Canada Continues Winning Tradition in Prestigious Promotional Products Competition
Toronto, Ontario, February 16, 2007 — Corporate Express Promotional Marketing - Canada (CEPM Canada) enjoyed another strong showing during the Promotional Products Association of Canada (PPACanada) 2006 Image Awards. The awards were presented to CEPM Canada during the PPA Canada National Convention held in Toronto in February, 2007.
The prestigious Image Awards are presented every year to supplier and distributor members, recognizing the best of the industry's talents and achievements during the previous year. The competition has 15 categories for distributors and 14 for suppliers, with all entries judged on specific criteria such as creativity, execution and results. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards are given within each category. Competition judges include suppliers and distributors who conduct blind ratings.
During the February ceremony, in the Best Distributor Catalogue category, CEPM Canada earned the following:
Silver Award —for the DaimlerChrysler branded merchandise program
This bilingual program targeted the Canadian Dealer partners of Daimler Chrysler by providing them with merchandise for resale. The merchandise reflected the look and feel of the Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, and Mopar brands, while appealing to consumers, and building brand loyalty.
Bronze Award —for the General Motors, Cadillac branded merchandise program
The program was designed to assist the client to strengthen individual brand image and to support varied sponsorship programs with appropriate products. The selection of products was critical to the success of the program, since brand supportive merchandise would leverage the opportunities in sponsorship programs. In addition, the client's brand program featured auto related items; plug in travel mug, car blanket pillow, catch all caddy and insurance kit, useful in other ways as well. CEPM Canada also earned the only recognition awarded in the Best Incentive Program category:
Silver Award —for the Petro-Canada Team Up & Win Program
