Corporate Express to Unveil ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification
Mississauga, Ontario, March 1st, 2004 — Corporate Express Canada - Corporate Express Canada, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Corporate Express, Inc., a Buhrmann company (NYSE:BUH), one of the world's largest business-to-business suppliers of essential office and computer products and services, is pleased to announce that the Honorable Leona Dombrowsky — Ontario Minister of the Environment will be attending a celebratory event at Corporate Express. The event is to recognize the company's achievement in having the Environmental Management System (EMS) of its Ontario Division certified to the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard. This is in addition to its ISO 9001:2000 certified Quality Management System. The certification was awarded to the Corporate Express Ontario Division after a thorough audit of the company's EMS by Deloitte and Touche. The ISO 14001 environmental standard is held in very high regard, as there are only a handful of ISO 14001 certified companies in Ontario.
