Corporate Express Receives 2006 World Class Sales Award
Broomfield, Colorado, November 8, 2006 — Corporate Express, Inc., a Buhrmann company (NYSE:BUH), was recently named a 2006 World Class Sales Award winner by the Chally Group, a sales performance consulting company in Dayton, Ohio.
Corporate Express is one of the world's largest business-to-business suppliers of essential office, facilities, furniture and computer products and services, with 2005 sales of approximately $4.6 billion in North America.
Since 1993, the Chally Group has interviewed 80,000 business purchasing decision-makers in the U.S. and asked them to rate the salespeople with whom they have relationships on 15 different criteria. To date, Chally has rated more than 7,300 sales forces and only 21 have met the World Class criteria. The last time a company in the office products industry was recognized was in 1994.

Corporate Express accepted the award at the 2006 World Class Sales Winners Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia. Selling Power publisher Gerhard Gschwandtner served as emcee for the event.
